While in Orlando, since we didn’t go to Disney World this time, we at least had to visit Disney Springs! Disney Springs is the shopping and dining district at Walt Disney World. And it’s the perfect way to get your dose of Disney on a day you’re not visiting the theme parks! 🐭💫

We drove ourselves and parked in the Lime Garage, which ended up being perfect. Both the self-parking lots and parking garages are FREE!

Our first stop was to Disney’s Candy Cauldron to get some Mickey-shaped cake pops!🐭 🍫🍭 These sweet treats are composed of cake and frosting mashed up, formed into a circle, dipped in chocolate or candy, and served on a stick! 😋 These cake pops come in a variety of flavors: vanilla, chocolate, and red velvet! We got the vanilla and red velvet, one with a chocolate coating and the other with rainbow sprinkles. The inside was a moist, very sweet cake. The texture was gooey and it reminded us of raw cookie dough you ate as a kid. And just incase you were wondering, the Mickey ears are marshmallow! We were so surprised when we bite into it lol. Although, we wish we could say we loved the cake pops, they weren’t our favorite. But they’re super cute for a picture! 😛

The cool thing about the Candy Cauldron is that you can actually watch them make the Mickey cake pops! We stood there and watched (and instagrammed 🤣) this process for a good 10 minutes, we thought it was so cool!

🌟 Tip: The Candy Cauldron is near a Starbucks, not far from the Lime Garage.

Experience Disney Springs a whole new way on Aerophile Balloon Ride. It’s a hot air balloon that takes you up 400ft in the air, giving you a great view of Disney Springs from above! The ride is about 8-10 minutes long. We had planned to ride but unfortunately due to the rainy weather, it was closed for the day. ☹️ Any kind of bad weather or excessive winds and the balloon will not fly. Maybe Next time!

🌟 Prices:

– Adults $20

– Kids $15

If you don’t do well with heights, they have Amphicar Tours! These vintage convertible cars drive straight into the water, taking you on a 20min tour around Lake Buena Vista! We thought these were so darn cute!! Amphicar cruises are $125 per car.

We just had to stop in the DisneyStyle store, and we’re so glad we did! This DisneyStyle is their newest store that just opened this past May (2018)! It’s located at Disney Springs West Side. This store has an assortment of fashion-forward Disney products, and they have soo many cute photo ops inside!!

In one corner of the store you can snap a photo in this life-sized tea cup, and then head over to take a photo in front of Cinderella’s Castle at Magic Kingdom. 🏰 The sky behind Cinderella’s Castle changes slowly from sunrise all the way to sunset, it’s so magical!😍💫

Goofing around! 😜

We met the absolute sweetest cast member, named Gabby, who told us that bloggers actually helped to design the DisneyStyle store! They took part in creating a destination of Disney-inspired fashion and the perfect photo ops for taking the best selfie at Disney. How cool is that!?

Disney Springs is the place to go to for outdoor shopping, food, and entertainment! And like we mentioned, this is a great spot to come to get your Disney fix if you’re not planning on visiting any of the Disney parks! There’s always something new popping up at Disney Springs and we’ll definitely be back for more mickey-shaped treats!
