Las Vegas is one of the top tourist destinations in the world and one of our favorite places to visit! From amazing shopping, decadent food options, taking your chance at luck, Vegas has it all! For this stay, we are calling Aria Resort & Casino, an MGM resort, home for the weekend. 📍

Nestled right in between The Mandarin Oriental and Cosmopolitan, from the outside, the first thing to notice is the contemporary clean lines, window panels, and modernity of the building. We love interesting architecture, whether new or old, and Aria is definitely beautiful at first glance!

At the entrance, Aria feels luxurious and new. Luckily, we came at a time where it wasn’t too busy to check in, and the process took about 8 minutes or so.

Lobby

Instead of waiting in line to be checked in by an employee, Aria has a mobile check in/check out desk where you can do it yourself!

Casino Area

We didn’t gamble during our stay but the chairs look very comfortable and we like that they stayed with a more modern design throughout the entire hotel.

Room

Our room was 1478 , which is a room with one king size bed and a view facing the strip. The coolest part about the room is that it’s technologically advanced. As soon as we walked into the room the lights turned on automatically, along with the curtains to show off the view!

Aria has a long road from the strip to the hotel, so from our room, we didn’t see a lot of the icons the Las Vegas Strip is known for. This is something to consider if you were to book a room ‘with a view of the strip’.

There is plenty of storage for your belongings, with a wardrobe near the entrance.

The bed was super comfortable and one-night stand has a tablet that gives information about the resort. It had everything you need, like the food menus at the restaurants that are located on the property.

On both sides of the bed, there are a few buttons, one saying ‘goodnight’ which literally turns off all of the lights in the room and closes the curtain for you. It’s a pretty cool feature for anyone that may want to sleep in from a late night of partying!

In front of our room we had our TV and the minibar, which could either be your best friend or your worst enemy! Note: each item at the mini bar is weighed so if we took off an item accidentally, we had about 30 seconds to put it back before being charged.

The bathroom was spacious, and had enough counter space for us to get ready!

Race & Sports

The Race & Sports Book is a movie theatre-esque area with TV’s all over that displays sports games and races. This is apart of the casino, meaning it is a gambling area for those that want to make bets during a sporting event. This area was especially busy during the weekend we were visiting because they were showing the World Cup 2018! It got pretty crazy there with fans from all over! This is a nice spot to hang out after a day of walking the strip because of the comfy lounge chairs. 🏎⚽️

Fitness Center

The gym is next to the pool entrance, the hair salon and spa. They had plenty of open treadmills, updated machines and equipment that faced the windows, showing a view of the pool area. 💪🏋️‍♂️

Fitness Center hours: 5am-8pm

Pool

Aria has three full pool areas! The look and design of the pools are pretty standard. Something interesting is that there is an on-site masseuse that will give you a massage near the pool! How relaxing?! 😎👙

Restaurants

Aria has a great amount of restaurants and places to grab a quick bite. In our short trip, we didn’t try them all but were able to dine at some of their more convenient restaurants.

Aria Patisserie

The restaurant/cafe that we went to frequently is call the Aria Patisserie, which is located next to the hotel guest elevators. This cafe is open 24 hours and has everything from breakfast, lunch sandwiches, pastries, and fruit cups. It seems like most of the full service restaurants close around 11pm or so in Las Vegas, so it was really nice to be able to get a late night snack without having to rely on room service. They even have yummy gelato and sorbets!

Five50 Pizza Bar

This pizza joint stays open late and has it’s own to-go stand for anyone trying to grab a quick slice that’s made in their fire oven. They even have a bar with local beers on tap! 🍕🍻

Buffet

The Buffet, located on the 2nd level, has a good amount of options, whether you’re looking for something healthy, or to full on indulge!

We went during brunch, where we found red velvet pancakes with Nutella, Spinach frittatas, eggs Benedict to French toast with bananas as breakfast options. 😋 They even had cuisine from different parts of the world Including Chinese’s shrimp Shumai, Spanish Paella, to Chicken Tikka Masala. There is also, a chef that can make you any kind of omelet that you want. For the price, you really can’t beat it with all the choices that they have, you’re going to find something you’d like or you can try it all! 🌮🍣🍭🥗

The price was $68 for two people. (as of June, 2018)

Parties

Vegas is all about letting loose and living your best life, so of course Aria has both a day and night club on site! Jewel is their nightclub and Liquid is their day club located at the pool.

Shopping

The Shops at Crystals is connected to Aria and is a gem of the Las Vegas strip! You literally can see the gorgeous and flashy architecture for Gucci, Prada, Louis Vuitton and other major couture designers. This is a great place to either shop til you drop 🛍 or grab some air conditioning while walking between resorts.

Inside of Aria there are also a few shops to buy women’s swimwear from high-end brands and more at Terrene. Or accessories and clothing for men at Aria Men’s. (Just in case your boyfriend left his good suit at home lol)

Aria31

Aria Hotel is a gorgeous resort with a lot to offer! This is a Resort and Casino that is apart of the Las Vegas strip, although it doesn’t draw in a big crowd of people like it’s neighboring resorts such as Bellagio, Planet Hollywood or Cosmopolitan. If you’re looking for a more chill, yet luxurious stay, Aria Resort & Casino is a great place to spend the weekend! 🎰🌴
