Office
As soon as you walk into the front office you’ll be greeted with lovely old fashioned Victorian charm!😍 This is where you’ll go to check into your room, and they also have some Little River Inn souvenirs if you want to bring something home to remember your stay!☺️

Right next to the check-in desk is the parlor room where you’ll go to grab your guest bag which has a copy of the property map, their breakfast and dinner menus, some amenities for your room, and an envelope with your room key. This is a precaution they’re taking because of Covid-19 to make it safer for everybody!

Rooms with a View
The Inn is broken up into several different buildings. Many of them have rooms with private decks facing the Pacific Ocean.🤩

We stayed in room 160, their Ocean View Deluxe room with 2 queen beds. Our room had everything we needed, very comfortable and cozy!

There are parking spaces at every building with your own designated spot.🙌🏼

As soon as we walked into the room we were greeted with a complimentary bottle of wine from Husch Vineyards, a family owned winery in the Anderson Valley. Which we were very excited to try because we had plans to visit the winery later that week!🍷 They even left us a LRI wine key to use. It’s the little things like this that make your stay so much more special!☺️🙌🏼

In between the two beds was the nightstand which had a few drawers, a lamp, and a basic alarm clock.

The room had a small kitchenette with a sink, Keurig coffee maker, mini fridge, and an extra storage space to the left.

Next to the kitchenette, was a rather large desk/media center with the phone, a TV, DVD/VHS player, drawers for your belongings, and a cool antique lamp. It definitely went along with the Victorian vibes of LRI!

The living area had a nice fireplace which we really enjoyed on the chillier nights!🪵🔥

The bathroom was extremely spacious! Which was perfect for two girls getting ready.😜 lol It had a long counter top with double sinks and both a jacuzzi bathtub and a separate shower. The bathroom had so much space we could have all our stuff sprawled out everywhere and still have plenty of room to spare!

We loved the beautiful wildlife photography above the tub that fits in perfectly with the Northern California nature theme!🐦🌲

The closet by the door had space to hang your belongings, along with some robes, an iron and ironing board, and extra blankets incase you get chilly at night. And of course, California being very eco-friendly, they had a recycling bin in the room right next to the trash can!♻️🙌🏼

But our absolute favorite part of the room was the balcony of course! The room had floor-to-ceiling windows which led out to the most amazing views of the Pacific Coast!😍🌊

Just a few hundred feet from the Pacific waves crashing, we loved sitting out there to start our day as well as ending it watching the sunset with a glass of wine!🤩🌅

Breakfast
LRI is are currently closed for breakfast service in their restaurant due to Covid-19, however you can order breakfast to be delivered to your room. And with views like this we didn’t mind at all!😍

Ole’s Whale Watch Bar
Closed for sit-down due to Covid-19
Craft cocktails, tasty bites, and whale watch views is what you can find at Ole’s Whale Watch Bar!🐋🦪🍻 It’s currently closed due to Covid-19 so we didn’t get to experience it during our visit. But in normal times, once re-opened, you can come here and get crab cakes, calamari, St. Louis Style Ribs, baked brie, just to name a few menu items!😋
🌟Fun fact: James Dean drank here during the filming of East of Eden in 1954!

Dinner
Served nightly from 5-8pm, 7 days a week. Reservations are strongly recommended.
Check out their dinner menu here.
For dinner guests, they have a podium setup outside where you’ll get your temperature checked and wait to be seated at your table. Because of Covid-19, they have you grab a menu while you’re waiting and you can place your dinner and drink orders at the bar (one group at a time). Once your seated at your table, the servers will bring your food and drinks, come to check on you, and are available for any additional drinks/desserts, but the dinner order is done ahead of time.

They’re currently seating outdoors only due to Covid-19, but it is tented and heated! Lucky for us we love to eat outdoors any chance we get, and with views like the Pacific Ocean who wouldn’t want to!🤩🙌🏼

Their outdoor patio was like a dreamy garden with lush greenery and flowers all over the place!😍🌸🌿

We started off with their Butternut Squash Soup, which was so incredibly delicious we had to order a second one!😋 And since we love our vegetables, we also tried their Cauliflower appetizer which was tahini and almond crusted with Calabrian chili and whipped goat cheese, SO good!

For our entrees we got the Local Salmon and the Eggplant Curry. Both meals were very flavorful and did not disappoint!🤤 I’d definitely recommend dining at LRI even if you’re not staying on property!

And of course, we had to finish it off with a delicious dessert! Because what’s dinner without dessert?😋
